Americano
A gourmet style of coffee made by pouring 1 to 2 shots of espresso over a 6oz cup of hot water. The crema will rise to the top.
Breve
Espresso mixed with half-and-half instead of milk
Cappuccino
Espresso topped with equal parts of steamed and foamed milk (wet cappuccino). A dry cappuccino is topped with all foamed milk. Cappuccinos are dusted with nutmeg, cinnamon, or chocolate.
Doppio
Double shot of espresso topped with a dollop of whipped cream.
Espresso con Panna
Espresso topped with a dollop of whipped cream.
Espresso Romano
Espresso with a twist of lemon.
Frappes
Frozen drinks made with espresso and powdered chocolate blended together with crushed ice and either water or milk.
Granitas
Sweetened flavored ices with a grainy texture. Granitas can be made flavorful with syrups, and are perfect served as either a dessert or as a refresher between courses.
Latte
Espresso with two parts milk and a skiff of foam.
Latteccino
Espresso with two parts steamed milk and one part foamed milk.
Lungo
Italian for "long". A long shot of espresso.
Mocha
A chocolate-flavored latte with an option of whipped cream for garnish.
Ristretto
A short pour of espresso, highly concentrated.
